Barrio Agham

Pueblo Science has created a series of high-quality online STEM activities targeted at high school students (grades 7 to 12) in the Philippines. The program, called Barrio Agham, produces short video tutorials of fun, hands-on science experiments three times a week. In each video, a Pueblo instructor demonstrates and provides easy-to-follow instructions on how to perform the experiment. During each live stream, there is at least one instructor available in a live chat to answer any questions or provide troubleshooting assistance.

The goal of this program is to engage students in the Philippines. Therefore, all experiments use materials that are commonly found in Philippine households.  The program goes live in ”Taglish” at 3pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (starting May 12) and delivered by professional scientists and educators in the Philippines with advanced degrees in science as well as a passion for teaching students.
