Science at the Communities was held in collaboration with the Jewish Associated Schools on December 17 celebrating Hannukkah. Around 300 grades 1 to 5 children attended the Science festival and were treated to a two-hour of fun science learning! Fire and light were the theme of the activities which included fire tornado, colouring flames, testing money authenticity via diffraction, detecting stress in structures using light polarizations, laser writing and fluorescing nanoparticles. The activities were well received by the participants!

“Thank you for the wonderful event. I look forward to working together again in the future” says Lee Ron Kaye, organizer for the event.
