TDSB Hockey Game

On September 25, 2012, Pueblo Science was invited by the Varsity Blues to provide a science education component at a hockey game attended by the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) students. Before the UofT-Ryerson face-off, Pueblo Science showcased several science phenomena, explaining phosphorescence, diffraction, static charges, and friction. Pueblo Science members also performed the first intermission show, exploding liquid nitrogen into the air, creating a huge cloud of water vapor which rolled on the ice, covering the entire arena, to the joyful cries of the 3000 attending children and teachers.
